SOURCES FOR YOUR REPORTING
For journalists
Fakt počasí is a Czech weather project that says what we know and acknowledges what we do not. Here you will find links to our forecasts, guidance on attribution and a media contact.
What the website offers
The forecast helps you plan your day around the weather. Radar observations and the estimated short-term precipitation outlook are separate; warnings come from CHMI, the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute.
For your reporting, use the displayed source, place and validity period. A forecast is an estimate; the sky view does not promise a sighting.
How to cite us
Use the name Fakt počasí and link to the page you used. For weather values, include the place, the data time and the period the value describes, as shown on that page.
Suggested credit: “Fakt počasí, faktpocasi.cz” plus the original data source. Keep the source credits and licence notices attached to the material you use.
